Two Traps in Hearing God
About the Author
Lay Leng is very expressive and bubbly when she is in the company of good friends! Hence, she often gets friendly glares when she says she is an introvert. These days, she has been associated with the colour purple, ice cream waffles and drawing in her journals. Thai food remains her favourite and she loves cycling and travelling to Taiwan, Japan and Nepal.
Having been in the teaching profession for over 10 years in at least three countries, she had been on roller-coaster rides with her students, experiencing ups and downs together with them. Lay Leng also served as a full-time school counsellor for three years. She received the National Caring Teacher Award in 2006, and the Outstanding Contribution Award in 2009 and 2010.
Lay Leng's wilderness journey where she recuperated from a slipped disc remained an enriching experience. Since then, she has embraced many awakening moments to live life anything but aimless towards impacting others for eternity.

There is something about Lay Leng's stories which makes the reader want to read on from page to page. More than a recount of wonderful moments personal and precious to her, it has a message that is universally appealing.
Miss Ho Peng,

"Inspiring stories - they uplift the spirit, and are chicken soup for the teacher's soul."
Reverend Calvin Lee,
Grace Assembly of God
"This book details the personal journey of Lay Leng. It is a desert experience that is so rich because God is in it. Truly, in the midst of it all, Lay Leng experienced springs of living water gushing out from the throne of God."
Read your book. It made me cry. It should be made into a movie!
